Food safety is serious business in the restaurant and hospitality industry. That’s because food-borne illness outbreaks can be deadly to customers and have a massive impact on a business.

To ensure food service establishments follow food safety best practices, most states passed laws requiring that at least one employee is a Certified Food Protection Manager.

Even if it’s not required by state law, most employers need to have someone with managerial duties on-premises who understands HACCP guidelines.

So if you’re responsible for food safety, then you need to get your food manager certification. You get access to our 8-hour training course that reviews the food safety principles you need to know to pass the exam, as well as prevent food-borne illnesses. Plus, some states require that you complete a training course in addition to the exam.

The Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is proctored online using the webcam on the computer. The exam will be proctored by one of our online proctors. Our online proctoring is available Monday – Friday between 7am to 10pm (CST). To access your exam, simply launch the course in the 360training LMS and follow the steps provided.
